Automated Cost Transfer (ACT) tool simplifies and tracks the processing of transfers of direct costs (labor and non-labor) to or from sponsored agreements. The tool addresses the unique needs and challenges of the Research Accounting Financial Management executives and business users in the Higher Education and Healthcare industries. In addition, it creates and maintains documentation standards and consistently applies policy.
ACT has an easy-to-use interface that allows direct data entry or upload using Excel. The data entry passes through validation modules and is routed through a pre-defined workflow that is programmable and can be mapped to an organization’s hierarchy. Flexible workflow configuration allows simplifying and automating complex business processes while maintaining consistency.
ACT fully integrates with ERP Financial and HCM applications such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JDE, Lawson or Banner. All data exchange through external systems is seamless, automatic and validated through protocol.
